Son of Libuše Niklová.
One of the greatest artists of today, artist, writer, illustrator, musician and theater artist. Winner of dozens of awards, including the Jindřich Chalupecký Award (1995) and three Ministry of Culture awards for "The Most Beautiful Book of the Year" (1997, 2001 and 2002) or the Magnesia Litera award in the categories "Book of the Year" and "Book for Children and Youth" (2008). His books were published in many foreign editions, including in French, English and Italian.
